It has been bought to our attention that some people are experiencing Autodesk Sync issues when installing a 2013 release product after installing a 2013 beta product. The Autodesk Sync component does not upgrade properly under the following conditions:

• You installed AutoCAD Beta 2013 (or Showcase Beta 2013) and subsequently install Inventor 2013

• You installed Inventor Beta 2013 and subsequently install AutoCAD 2013 (or Showcase 2013).

We are pleased to announce we have downloaded the latest product release from Autodesk – Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium 2013, which includes AutoCAD and Inventor. We are looking forward to trying out all of the exciting new features!

Solid Edge ST4 has been launched, the latest release enables manufacturers to:

Autodesk Showcase 2012 Service Pack 1 is now available for download. It addresses stability issues and includes fixes across several functional areas including better memory management when raytracing, fixes to Ambient Shadows, Autodesk Material properties and X-Rite materials. ANSYS 13.0 has been announced, delivering performance improvements and new features for making multiphysics more accessible.  We are currently using ANSYS Design Space 12.1 here at Nova.

Autodesk software has gone mobile, meaning assembly instructions can now be viewed on an iPhone, the full article can be viewed here.

Autodesk have announced AutoCAD for Mac, and an AutoCAD WS App for the iPad and the iPhone, full details are available here.
